A human-led, person-centred first-tier response to stress, communication and early support at work
Work-related mental health is a major organisational and human issue. In Great Britain, 964,000 workers reported stress, depression or anxiety caused or made worse by work in 2024/25. These conditions represented 52% of self-reported work-related ill health.

Prevention and organisational responsibility
Employers should assess and manage work-related stress, address workload and organisational causes, develop psychologically safe management practice and maintain appropriate occupational-health and clinical referral routes.
Relaxation support can complement this work, but it cannot replace an employer’s legal duties or action on the conditions creating stress.
Where CBRT™ may contribute
From 2027, CBRT™ is intending to offer organisations an additional first-tier resource using the Colour Breathing Disks©, conscious breathing, staged relaxation and caring communication.
A trained Practitioner may support an employee individually or facilitate a person-centred group. Typical groups contain five to six people and would normally include no more than ten.
The CBRT™ Programme can support open dialogue, calmness, reflection, listening, awareness of others, focus, patience, teamwork and taking one task at a time.

Bring CBRT™ support into your workplace
From 2027, organisations will be able to access services delivered by a CBRT™ Practitioner or train members of their own team to deliver regular CBRT™ Relaxation Support Sessions®.
For larger organisations with 50 to more than 1,000 employees, we can arrange two-day, in-house CBRT™ Corporate Practitioner Training Programmes for up to 14 members of staff. Participants complete the CBRT™ Practitioner Training Programme on site and are prepared to provide professional, on-demand CBRT™ Relaxation Support Sessions® for individuals and groups within the workplace.
The two-day CBRT™ Practitioner Training Programme offers excellent value for money and is CPD-accredited and regulated. It enables organisations to establish their own trained CBRT™ Practitioners to provide regular, in-house, person-centred support for employees.
Employees who complete the training and become licensed CBRT™ Practitioners may also deliver voluntary CBRT™ Relaxation Support Sessions® within their local communities, subject to appropriate safeguarding, insurance and organisational arrangements. This enables companies to extend the social impact of their investment in staff training and contribute to the social element of their ESG commitments.
