Widen your professional horizons with CBRT™

Help prepare the next generation of licensed CBRT™ Practitioners

New opportunities to progress from licensed CBRT™ Practitioner to CBRT™ Instructor from 2027

The four-day CBRT™ Instructor Training Programme provides a professional progression route for experienced trainers who have first completed the CBRT™ Practitioner Training Programme, its assessment and case-study requirements, and become licensed CBRT™ Practitioners.

All CBRT™ Instructors remain active licensed Practitioners. They are prepared to deliver authorised CBRT™ Practitioner Training Programmes and help maintain consistent, person-centred standards across the developing CBRT™ workforce.

The first new CBRT™ Instructor Training opportunities are planned for 2027. Expressions of interest are now welcome from suitably experienced applicants.

CBRT™ to offer a structured Practitioner-to-Instructor pathway in 2027

CBRT™ Instructor Training is not a stand-alone train-the-trainer course. Every prospective Instructor must first understand, practise and complete the CBRT™ Practitioner pathway.

1. Complete the two-day CBRT™ Practitioner Training Programme. The Practitioner Training Programme provides 13.25 hours of CPD and develops the knowledge and practical skills required to deliver CBRT™ Relaxation Support Sessions®.

2. Complete the Practitioner assessment requirements. Trainees complete the required assessment paper and Individual and Group case studies within the approved assessment period.

3. Become a licensed and active CBRT™ Practitioner. Successful completion leads to Practitioner licensing, subject to the Company’s professional, quality and governance requirements.

4. Complete the four-day CBRT™ Instructor Training Programme. The Instructor Programme develops the additional knowledge, communication, facilitation and training skills required to prepare other people for the Practitioner role.

5. Qualify and become licensed as a CBRT™ Instructor. Successful applicants may then deliver authorised CBRT™ Practitioner Training Programmes within the Company’s approved curriculum, licensing, audit and quality-assurance framework.

Who may be interested?

The CBRT™ Instructor pathway may be relevant to experienced professionals who already train, teach, supervise or develop other people and who share CBRT™ values of caring communication, person-centred practice and professional responsibility.

Each expression of interest will be considered against the approved selection, professional-suitability and training requirements. Registration of interest does not guarantee acceptance onto the Programme.

Licensed CBRT™ Instructors help build a skilled Practitioner workforce while protecting the quality, integrity and person-centred delivery of the CBRT™ Programme.

• Deliver authorised CBRT™ Practitioner Training Programmes using the approved curriculum and materials

• Prepare future Practitioners to deliver human-led, person-centred CBRT™ Relaxation Support Sessions®

Where CBRT™ Instructors fit

CBRT™ Instructors form an essential link between the Practitioner workforce and the wider CBRT™ training, licensing and quality structure. They prepare licensed CBRT™ Practitioners to deliver regular, in-person CBRT™ Relaxation Support Sessions® to individuals and person-centred groups across healthcare, community, education, workplace and wellbeing settings.

Subject to the terms of their CBRT™ Instructor Licence, qualified Instructors may work for a training provider or operate on a self-employed basis. They will work within the CBRT™ quality-assurance structure and report to CBRT™ Regional Training Managers and CBRT™ National Training Managers.
